From Chrome Extension to Unified Platform

After a successful collaboration on a Chrome extension for email reformulation, Wingbuddy took the next step: integrating into Flowful’s unified platform. This migration unlocks mutualized processing, reduced costs, and a scalable foundation to expand into more AI-powered apps over time.

The first app they adopted is the mail app, a visual pipeline builder that automates email workflows with AI, connecting to external tools and interacting with emails at every stage. For Wingbuddy, the pipeline creates polished draft replies for the sales team in real time. Instead of writing from scratch, agents simply review and validate the AI-generated draft, saving significant time on every email.

How It Works: Smart Classification Meets Targeted Context

Wingbuddy’s sales team handles inquiries about a wide range of trip packages. To deliver accurate, relevant drafts, the pipeline uses a multi-step approach built visually in the platform editor. Each node in the pipeline is modular: the platform supports custom tool integrations, so the flow can be tailored precisely to a client’s needs:

  1. Trigger & Email Filter: Incoming emails are captured and filtered based on allow lists, exclusion rules, and labels to ensure only relevant messages enter the pipeline.

  2. Classify node: The AI analyzes the email content, detecting the language, whether it’s a question, and which trip package it relates to.

  3. FAQ Filler: Based on the classified category, the FAQ Filler node retrieves only the relevant FAQ document for the identified package, keeping context lean and costs low.

  4. Gate: A condition check determines whether the email warrants an automated draft (e.g., it is indeed a question about a known package).

  5. Execute Prompt: The curated FAQ content, email body, and resolved prompt are handed off to a state-of-the-art language model that generates a polished, professional draft reply.

  6. Create Reply Draft & Label: The draft is created directly in the mailbox as a reply, and the email is labeled “AutoReplied” for easy tracking.
