E-COMMERCE

AI for E-commerce

Online stores drown in the same questions: is this compatible with my model, where is my order, can I return it. We automate the repetitive half of your inbox so your team keeps the half that actually needs a human.

Why e-commerce

Your support volume scales with sales. Your team should not have to.

A growing catalogue means more compatibility questions, more delivery chases, and more returns, all arriving by email, chat and phone at once. Hiring is the obvious answer and the expensive one. Connecting AI to the product data you already maintain is the cheaper one, and it works at 3am.

  • Answers grounded in your real product sheets, not a generic model's guesswork
  • Handles the compatibility and sizing questions that eat the most inbox time
  • Escalates anything about payment, complaints or exceptions straight to a human
  • Works across email, website chat and phone from one shared knowledge base
  • Speaks your customers' languages, including mixed FR/NL/EN inboxes
The problem

Where e-commerce teams actually lose hours

Every online retailer we work with loses time in the same four places. None of them are the interesting parts of the job.

Repetitive product questions

Compatibility, dimensions, materials, stock. The answers all exist in your catalogue and product sheets, but a person has to go and find them, dozens of times a day.

Order status chasing

Where is my parcel is the single most common support email in retail, and the one with the least value added by a human reading it.

Catalogue data that will not sit still

Suppliers publish in a dozen formats, references change, images live somewhere else. Keeping product data usable is constant manual work.

Out-of-hours demand

Shoppers browse in the evening and at weekends. An unanswered question at 9pm is a cart that gets abandoned before Monday.

Use cases

What we build for online retailers

AI email support at scale

Incoming mail is classified, matched against your product sheets and FAQs, and answered with a draft your team validates before it sends. Volume drops without accuracy dropping.

Product-aware website chat

A chat widget that knows your catalogue, answers compatibility and sizing questions instantly, and captures the lead when it cannot close the answer itself.

Order and delivery status replies

Connect the chatbot or inbox to your order system so where is my parcel is answered from real data, not a canned apology.

Catalogue enrichment

Pull product images, specifications and references out of heterogeneous supplier catalogues and into one usable knowledge base, automatically.

Returns and after-sales triage

Classify incoming after-sales requests, gather what is missing, and route each one to the right person with the context already attached.

Post-purchase follow-up

Automated, personalised follow-up on installation questions and accessory recommendations, using what the customer actually bought.

How it works

From inbox to automation in four steps

1

We measure the real volume

A short call and a look at a month of support mail. We come back with which question types are automatable and roughly how many hours a month that is worth.

2

We connect your data

Product sheets, FAQs, installation guides, order system. Whatever you already maintain becomes the knowledge base. You do not write a new one.

3

We tune on your own history

The system is tested against real past conversations, so you see accuracy on your questions before anything reaches a customer.

4

You go live with a human in the loop

Drafts first, auto-send later if and when you want it. You keep the veto, and we keep tuning as your catalogue changes.

FAQ

E-commerce AI questions we get asked

Will it invent product specifications?

No. Answers are retrieved from your product sheets, FAQs and guides before they are generated, so a claim about a product traces back to a document you control. Where the source does not cover the question, the system says so and escalates rather than filling the gap.

Can it handle a catalogue that changes constantly?

Yes. The knowledge base is re-indexed as your catalogue updates, so new references and discontinued products are reflected without anyone rewriting the bot. Catalogue enrichment can be automated too, including pulling product images and specs out of supplier files in different formats.

Does it connect to my shop platform?

We integrate with the platforms and tools you already run (Shopify, WooCommerce, PrestaShop, custom back ends) plus your inbox and helpdesk. Order lookups read from your real order data, so status answers are accurate rather than generic.

What happens with complaints or refund requests?

They are classified as human-only and routed to your team with the conversation context attached. Automating the easy half of the inbox is the point; automating an angry customer is not.

Our customers write in French, Dutch and English. Is that a problem?

No, and it is one of the more common reasons retailers here call us. The system detects the language of each message and answers in it, from the same knowledge base. Mixed-language inboxes are the normal case in Belgium and the Netherlands, not an edge case.

How long before it pays for itself?

Most e-commerce deployments go live in two to four weeks. The honest answer on payback depends on your volume: at a few hundred support emails a month the case is usually about response time and out-of-hours cover, and at a few thousand it is straightforwardly about headcount you no longer need to add.

Want to know what is automatable in your inbox?

Send us a month of support volume and we will tell you which share of it AI can take, before you commit to anything.
